The Official T.E.A.C.H.M.E. Logo

The Theramore Educational Association for the Creation of Higher Minds Everywhere - nearly always shortened to "T.E.A.C.H.M.E." - was the brainchild of Lorbero Fizzlespark and Avellia Daeris, two mages residing in Theramore Isle. Intended to be a work of "educational charity", Lorbero hosted these events in the interest of passing on his vast pool of knowledge to those less fortunate in educational pursuits. Classes generally featured a lecture with periodic question periods followed by a hands on event somehow related to the topic.

Classes[]

CLASS I: Theramore, a history.
Originally settled for the sole purpose of survival during the tumultuous era of the Third War, Theramore has grown in a short time from a small camp on a rocky island to a walled and flourishing city that is one of the few Alliance strongholds on Kalimdor. This class intends to cover the nation of Theramore's brief but remarkable history, its governing and military bodies, along with providing a description of the city's layout and its people. Students will also be given a chance to visit certain areas of note in Theramore, such as the docks, Foothold Citadel, the Golden Anchor Inn, and the first level of the Tower where the famous Lady Jaina Proudmoore resides. A scavenger hunt will follow, with an exotic prize awaiting the victor!

CLASS II: Faces of the Horde: The Orcs
Still relative newcomers to the world of Azeroth, the Orcish race has needed little time to make its mark on the world. In a span of only 30 years, the Orcs have invaded Azeroth, destroyed the Kingdom of Stormwind, suffered defeat at the hands of the first Alliance, lost their home planet of Draenor, been imprisoned by the Alliance before being freed shortly afterwards, fled to the continent of Kalimdor, fought the Burning Legion alongside other races indigenous to Azeroth, and settled in the region of Durotar, creating a new Orcish nation on Azeroth. To remain ignorant of this intriguing race and the political entity of the Horde that they now lead would be a grave mistake. This class will cover the basic known history of the Orcish race, a brief overview of the faction known as the "Horde", and the details of the Theramore-Horde pact, along with a discussion over the merits of the controversial pact. An interview with an Orc will also take place, giving students an excellent chance to meet and interact with one in a peaceful setting. T.E.A.C.H.M.E. would like to remind its students that foul play, including an attempt on the Orc's life, will not be tolerated.
